Practice Experience:

Michael has experience administering anesthesia at the region’s Level I Trauma center: The University of Tennessee Medical Center, where he collaborated with an anesthesia team to provide care to high acuity patients undergoing emergency surgery and other complex surgical procedures. He has also been a member of the heart team at Tennova Heart Hospital, providing anesthesia in the team model for patients undergoing open heart and major vascular surgery. Before founding Invigilo Anesthesia, Inc., he practiced independently providing anesthesia for inpatient and outpatient surgery at Fort Loudoun Medical Center, a community hospital in Lenoir City, TN., and at Premier Surgical Center.

Personal:

Prior to his professional career, Michael served as team captain for the University of Tennessee’s Track and Field Program, earning All-America honors in the pole vault. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing and spending time with his wife and 3 children.
